About the Course

This course is for participants in the Domestic Batterer’s Intervention Program (BIP), a 26-week course guided by Missouri law and probation standards. It supports men and women working to change abusive behaviors in relationships. As the Missouri Coalition Against Domestic Violence notes, intervention programs are only one part of creating accountability. True change requires support from courts, probation, and the entire community. This program encourages you to reflect on your actions and experiences, whether related to court or personal growth, so you can improve how you show up in your relationships. Unhealthy behaviors harm everyone, regardless of age, gender, religion, or background. Domestic violence can affect anyone, making it essential to address these issues directly.
